Psalm 16:9-11 NIV
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, 10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. 11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
We dedicate this area to honor the lives of our brothers and sisters that have gone before us and have "finished the race" to hear those words from our Savor, "Well done my good and faithful servant".
On Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010 Lance Jackson finished his battle with cancer. Lance had cancer for about two years, although last January he was feeling well enough to join us on our second week. We will celebrate Lance's life this Tuesday, Sept. 28th at Grace Community Church for his memorial at 4:00pm. Lance was with us for 39 years and prayers are needed for his family during this tough time.
On Friday, Sept. 17th 2010, our brother Rick Farmer was called home to be with our savior Jesus. Services for Rick will be Tuesday, Sept. 21st at 5:00pm at Grace Community Church. Rick was 43 and leaves with us his wife Jean and kids. His wife has asked that donations to the Reynosa, Pilar Project can be made in lieu of flowers.
